| Biography |
Dr. Tariq is a docent and post-doctoral researcher at LUT University, Kouvola Unit, Finland, and has considerable teaching and research experience. He has a strong interest in teaching Innovation Management, Managing Technology for Competitiveness, and Product Policy & Innovation. His research mainly focuses on Gree Innovation, Open Innovation, Platform Ecosystems, New Product Development and Knowledge worker’s Productivity. Dr. Tariq’s research has appeared in leading journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Intellectual Capital, European Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Manpower, and the Journal of Intellectual Capital, among others.
Dr. Tariq has worked in different capacities for academia and corporates in South Korea, Bangkok, Pakistan, Germany, and Finland. In his previous role as an Assistant Professor at NUST, Pakistan, he has actively contributed to innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems, organized first virtual international conference, lead his team as an innovation head for AACSB accreditation, and collaborated with Telenor Pakistan (leading telecom company) to organize design thinking trainings. Currently, he is working on various Erasmus+ projects in different roles and playing a key role in ArtIST.
