Dear network, industry professionals, academics and policy makers,
In the context of a European ERASMUS+ project, ArtIST, dedicated to create a common body of knowledge on transdisciplinary STE(A)M approaches for the teaching of business and innovation management, we are conducting a study on the needs and requirements of the professional and academic environment to develop the skills of tomorrow.
Faced with a VUCA world (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) and multiple transitions, the academic and business worlds will have to face new challenges to acquire and develop new skills for the professions of tomorrow. These skills can be acquired through innovative pedagogical approaches such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) education which highlights experiential and transversal learning, transdisciplinary approach and project-based work.
The integration of Art boosts creativity, encourages unique ideas and to take appropriate risks, implements the mistakes as a form of learning, and more.
This transdisciplinary STEAM approach is becoming increasingly important in business, innovation management and entrepreneurship. New methods, such as Art-based management or Art thinking, that are more empathetic, based on emotions and human reactions and more experiential, are emerging and being increasingly implemented both in the business and academic world.
To this end, we developed the following survey in order to identify industrial as well as educational needs to map the future skills and competences that are needed. We would be very grateful to you if you could take 20 minutes of your time to help us and answer the questionnaire, by clicking on the following link.
Thank you in advance for your precious contribution!
